Welcome to Columbus Food Adventures!
We, Bethia Woolf and Andy Dehus, founded Columbus Food Adventures to share the incredible stories behind Columbus's diverse food scene. From gourmet institutions like The Refectory and Pistacia Vera to hidden gems like taco trucks and mom-and-pop eateries, our city has so much to offer.
Our passion began with websites like tacotruckscolumbus.com, alt.eats.columbus.com, and hungrywoolf.com, where we explored and reviewed local restaurants. In 2010, we launched Columbus Food Adventures, starting with three tours inspired by our discoveries. Today, we offer 11 unique tour experiences, foodie scavenger hunts, and custom tours.
Whether you're a lifelong Columbus resident or a visitor eager to taste the best the city has to offer, we hope our tours inspire you to appreciate the richness and diversity of our local food scene as much as we do.

Generally, tours occur regardless of the weather, but we reserve the right to cancel in the event that weather is severe enough to threaten the safety of our participants.
When you book your ticket, you’ll be given advice on where to park for each individual itinerary.
In general, most find it enough to replace one meal. The only exception is the brewery district tour which focuses more on alcohol and includes light snacks.
We have 8 different walking tours. The distances vary between under half a mile to over two miles. On our tours page you’ll see the length of each tour.
Gratuities are by no means expected, but always appreciated. Some guides have Venmo QR codes you can scan. We also gratefully accept your feedback on Google, Trip Advisor or your favorite review site.
Yes, we find that even people who have lived in Columbus all their lives learn about new places on our tours. We also try to give you behind-the-scenes or unique experiences that you would not have if you weren’t on a Columbus Food Adventure.
